Choose Dial to display the Dial dialog box. The dialog box shows the available phone numbers for the entry in the exact sequence in which they will be dialed, in this order: dial-out prefix (if any), long distance prefix (if any), area code (if required), phone number, and suffix (if any).
To dial a number from the dialog box, select it and click Dial, or just double-click the number.
If the area code is not correct, select a different area code option from the Number Format pull-down menu.
If any of the prefixes or the suffix is not correct, press Cancel. Return to the Dial menu and select a different prefix, long distance prefix, or suffix from those menus. Then select Dial again and make the call.
